CEO Summary

This is our first weekly progress report and in this section I'll provide a little more insights into our thinking, our strategy and our overall vibe.

We wanted May to learn from our early users who are currently using the product for free. As my man Ab Lincoln said:  Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe

The difficult part in early stage startups is knowing which way to sprint. With so many directions as our option; sprint too far one way and we’ll waste time in turning and running back.

One of the challenges we currently have is getting brands to use their booking links in the right areas: website, email signature, or even just sending it out when booking calls with prospects.

We’ve had all the brands give feedback, suggestions and ideas on how we can improve the product. From design, functionality and certain features that enhance the experience of both users.

This is another positive signal that businesses are willing to work with it while it is an MVP and they see the same potential in it as we do.

Jamie and I took a long weekend - he went camping with his family and endured a storm lol. I visited my family in Nelson Bay and played golf for 4 days.

We’re both feeling recharged!

Weekly Highlights:

  • Update the website to reflect the new B2B offering - check it.

  • Clarity on pricing from ICP feedback. Monthly subscription as opposed to pay per lead. However, this is something we’ll probably move back to in the future.

Weekly Lowlights

  • Brands aren’t using their links in the areas we suggest: eduction, onboarding needs to be improved.

The Week Ahead »

Objective for the week ahead: to place ourselves in a position to book demos with our ICP the following week and begin closing sales in June.

Product

  • Cohorts for brands: brands can create their own custom cohort of partners they are already partnered with

  • Update design for offer page: make this more inviting for prospects to claim offers. (based on our original designs)

  • Add logo to booking calendar (based on our original designs)

Marketing

  • BIP LinkedIn/YouTube Content: create and distribute

Sales

  • Outreach to ICP using Apollo.io

  • Interview five more ICCs (Influencers, Coaches and Consultants)

Lesson of the Week: Early adopters who try to break your product are legends
